God is My Foundation

Sometimes I forget that I'm not alone. Though I may feel lonely, He is with me every second, every place. 

So many times I just want to give up on things because I let my flesh guide me and that's all wrong. I'm still a work in progress when it comes to asking God for help when I have the fleshly struggles. I have to do better.

When you trust in God, you can move mountains because he provides you the guidance and strength to get through anything. So don't be afraid to ask for help (message to myself and you).

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

- John 14:13-14 NKJV

We are human and we fail to persevere because we lack in the presence of Jesus. It becomes so much harder to fulfill our journey of life which God has set out for us because we are being selfish and not humbling ourselves before the Most High. We can't give into our fleshly ways and become selfish in our wants because maybe it's not His plan for us and we are to take another path. There are always alternate routes.  

When we ask, we have to fully believe and trust in Him to provide because He will and no matter what it is, we will be His children in life doing His work and won't curse or feel some type of way just because He didn't provide in the way we wanted. 

I recommend Psalms 20 for reading regarding this message to se e that God is our assurance to fulfill our heart's desire and all our purposes. Verse 7 touches on others trusting in chariots and horses, whom have bowed down and fallen, while those who remember God's name have risen and stand upright. Keep it simple, it pertains to that believing in worldly things won't fulfill you as remembering God's name will.

God will answer your prayers and whenever we call upon Him, He won't forsake you. So when you find yourself in times of trouble or just a low place in life, ask and He will provide you the direction necessary to fulfill your heart. You have to be attentive and listen to the direction, otherwise you won't find the peace you desire. 

And remember,

1. It may not, be instant directions, when the moment is right, He will provide the direction

2. It may seem to be small and insignificant, but it could be all that you need or that small step could lead to bigger steps.

As stated before, I recommend reading Psalms 20 for one of many great messages pertaining to the assurance of God.
